i recently encounter this problem when i was trying to install Instagram on my PC via bluestacks. Too bad its took me a long while and alot of wasted data, so i decided after solving this issue to write about it and help others resolved same issue Quickly!!!
App Installation Failure Error "Package File Is Invalid or corrupt".
follow this quick process to resolve this issue does NOT matter if you using a rooted or older version of bluestacks, please download and install the apk file from the URL mentioned below.
Once the installation is completed, click and open this file. You will see a message displayed "Issue Resolved!". This should fix the issue. Now try again installing the instagram or facebook/any apps
if you have experience any problem opening the file after downloading like i did, try to copy and visit this link below on your apk browser inside bluestacks:

choose mobogenie and complete installation. after installed. click and open file. and you are GOOD TO GO!!!
